computer question - format transfer?
Ok, I'm needing some help. What I need (read: want) to do may not even be possible, but I'm hoping it is (and that someone here can tell me how).
I'm working on a project which is in pdf format (Acrobat). I'd like to make notes as I go along, but I don't think you can do that in pdf. Is it possible to transfer pdf files into Word? I'd much rather make electronic notes than print out the document and make notes physically on the paper. Plus, it's many many pages, and I'd like to save trees if possible. Anyone out there know anything that can help me with this? |
Depends on your Adobe reader and on how the .pdf file was created.
Try clicking on "Select text" in the Reader and then see if it will let you actually select and copy the text. If it does, you can paste in Word or WordPerfect, although the formatting may be a bit odd -- hard returns will be inserted at the end of every line, for example. |
