Um, did it ever occur to you that maybe, just maybe, the Pi Kappa Alphas wanted to discuss it in their OWN forum? It's not unusual to see discussion taking place in a General Forum *AND* an individual GLO forum.

There were two threads about this already. One was deleted because it was going down the crapper and the other one is right behind it. Why do we need a third one? Most of the Pikes that are regular posters have already jumped in on the other one, and they could say "DISCUSSION FOR PIKES ONLY", but I doubt it would stay that way for long.

Plus, it's possible, FratAmerica being new and all, that he didn't realize it was already being discussed.

That's not a decision for you to make. If the PIKES want to start a new thread in THEIR forum, they are more than entitled to.

This is all I'll say on the subject. I'll let the PIKES take over from now on -- because I'd hate to ruin threads like some people. :)

I don't blame them for not commenting on this mess, because of all the tension.

But it's their forum. They can do what they want and say what they want, and it's none of your business, nor is it any of anyone else's business but their own.

I think most Pikes want to let the merits of the Colony speak for themselves rather than having us try to defend Pike on a messageboard.

Shows you the intelligence of the writer of that article. First of all, it wasn't Pike at Auburn who pulled that stunt. it was DTD if I'm not mistaken. And it wasn't Georgia Tech that the straight outta compton thing happened at.

If good guys join it and they go at it in the mold of an old southern chapter, I am all for it, if its a bunch of D Bags then I am not. Letters mean a lot less than who is in the house.

Sorry for bumping a dead thread, but I was wondering how the colony at Howard is doing? I'm very interested in the success of any non-NPHC group at predominately black campuses, and wait for the day when another NPC sorority tries to colonize at such an institution.

Those True Pikes who are on here don't believe frathole is a Pike. I wouldn't concern yourself with him.

As for the Howard Colony, according to the Fall 2006 Shield and Diamond, their 54-man colony seems to be doing well. I would venture a guess and say that they are the largest and one of the most involved on campus this fall.
