Spring Break Cruises

Has anyone went on one?

I'm kind of doubtful about a cruise on break. The ones I've been on before have been older people and not what I'm looking for on spring break.

Any advice on what line to choose or anything like that?

I went on one second year of law school with my friends. Went on the Carnival Sensation, a 5 day cruise leaving from Tampa that went to Cozumel and Georgetown, Grand Caymans.

If you want young people and partying on a spring break cruise, definitely go Carnival. (Carnival is cheap, too). We were actually a little aggitated with how many drunk college kids there were, but none of us are big partiers.

I did Carinval Valor last Jan (it was the newest Carinval ship) and it was horrible. If your gonna do a cruise, I like Royal Carribean...good mix of ages, better partying then Carinval, and always a good time!

Check out the website www.skyauction.com for different cruise line offers, I got a round trip ticket to Australia two years ago during Christmas (their summer) for like $600 when most airlines were charging around $2000...you can get really lucky with some of the auctions, so I'd assume that cruises would be as good also. I'm currently looking there for Spring Break cruises too :) And they have a lot of different cruise lines, so you can probably even find a good deal on the one you want.

I've been on three...one at spring break (my senior of HS...before I discovered the joys of alcohol...sad I know), one over New Year's and one over thanksgiving.

All had at least some people my age at the time, with spring break definitely the most drunk people who were college age. My parents were pretty upset by the spring break one b/c of that.

If you're going with a bunch of friends it shouldnt' be that big of deal. I will say that Carnival is pretty strict on the 21 to drink rule. I almost got security called on me during the New year's trip b/c I was just walking around with bottles of champagne and only 19 at the time...so if you have any underage people in your group, other lines might be more favorable.
