I don't know about those, per se, but I do know that things change! What's called the President's Ring now was a Crested Ring when I was a collegiate.

Seriously, I think there ought to be a standardized and official list for dangles. It may change over the years, but the member would be eligible to continue to wear the dangle that applied to what she "earned" at the time she "earned" it, not the current time. I thought that was how it worked?

Sorry for the crash, but officially, in most GLOs, the lion is for the Parlimentarian. When I finally get around to getting a guard, I will get a Lion as well as a VP of Alumnae wreath.

The lion is a fairly new dangle for us (4-5 years?), and since the Lion is our mascot, I truthfully thought it was either for Pride Leaders (until I saw that they already had one), or for Golden Lion Chapter members. That's why I asked.

I think they do have a list for most of them, just not the lion. That's why I asked EO. I'm finally able to buy the dangles I couldn't afford when I was in school!

Agree honey. I can buy all the dangles I want, but I wish I could have when I was in the chapter. Now I don't get to wear my pin as much to ADPi events as there isn't many for Alums.

I can wear it to work or interviews, but it's def not the same when you wear it to a ADPi event.

I always thought the lion was for pride leader too. When I was a pride leader I looked at the lion and thought about getting it. Hmm.

Does anyone know the return policy to Giftmart?

I purchased some magnets from there for our Seniors. I was just trying to put their gifts together. As I was trying to take the magnets off of the paper that they came on, they were stuck with all of this sticky junk. The sticky junk will not come off and the magnets are basically useless!

Did you try using WD-40 or Goo-B-Gone? Are they those little round ones with the lions and "alpha delta pi," etc on them? I used WD-40 and then wiped them down with one of those clorox bleach wipey things. Mine are fine now! HTH.

interesting...i'll have to try that. not really happy about having to go to that much trouble, but i'll try it. it is probably quicker to do that than to try and return them.

Why is it that there is not a link to Gift Mart thru PO? There is a link on the tool bar, but just to email GM. There is another link that will allow you tp buy items, based on description alone, because none of the items have pix. GRR... I've put the link to GM in my newsletter every issue and had to open an old one to find the link; now I've bookmarked it!

BTW - the euro-style greek-letter magnets are on sale for just $1.50. I've bought a bunch for favors for FD!

I was very disappointed to see that there is not one item of clothing with the Crest. :( My favorite ADPi item is a crested sweatshirt that I bought a dozen years ago. The cuffs and collar are frayed now, but it is still my favorite and I still wear it with pride!
