Sigma Pi to colonize NMSU

I just found out that Sigma Pi will be colonizing at NMSU. I have never heard of them before. Can anyone tell me a little about them.

Check out their website....I think it is www.sigmapi.org The Chapter of Sigma Pi at the school I advise is very supportive.

Sigma Pi is an NIC Fraternity that is older than 50 Years.

They are a fine Greek Organization and on many Campi.

Where is NMSU? What kind of College is it?;) :p

If You are there, Welcome them and be Supportive!

I just wanted to say that they just became the second national fraternity at my undergrad when they were installed in January 2006.

I don't know too much about them, but its great they are expanding & I hope to see some great things from them.

Sigma Pi is up here @ JWU. There is one in my media relations class this tri...if he is any idication of the rest of his brothers, I'd say they are a fine group of men...at least, the little I know about him :)

I LOVE the Sigma Pi's at Chico State. I may be biased, because I am dating one, but I actually ended up dating him after I befriended a group of them. I don't know what anyone could really say about the entire organization, but the chapter I know is amazing - very dedicated to their chapter and have great relations with their national offices.

NMSU is New Mexico State University. There are 7 differnt colleges: Engineering, Ag. and Home Econ., Health and Human Services, HRTM, Art and Sciences, Education and Busness. I know that its hard to remember that New Mexico is actually part of the US. I haven't meet any of the Sigma Pi's but I think it will be great to have another fraternity on campus.

Sigma Pi was founded in 1897. We currently have I believe 133 chapters and colonies.

Im glad to hear we are gonna be expanding to NMSU, I hadent heard that one yet. I know we are expanding to to a couple more California schools in the next couple monthes

My BF attended NMSU from 93-97. Sadly, he wasn't Greek. Just a golfer. :p

Last season was the first time NMSU competed in the WAC, and my alma mater (UH-Manoa) played his alma mater for Homecoming.

Good to hear, wish we could make greater headway into more Southeastern schools though...

We do have established chapters at Kentucky, Auburn, and Georgia. I agree though, I would love to see us at South Carolina, Bama, and LSU. We do have quite a few down here though at some of the smaller schools.
