With almost every office having email, I thought this was an interesting and appropriate article to share.

"You dash off a scathing e-mail complaining about your boss to your co-worker -- but you send it to your boss by mistake."

I actually had a friend get fired for this. We still give him hell for it.

I know of someone who had that happen pretty recently - that's why I read the article originally. It's way too easy to shoot off an email and forget that it can have a big impact.

Someone in my old office did that.

She ran out of her office, to everyone it was sent to, and made them get up from their desks and then she deleted the emails.

I have a friend who had very beautiful "boudior" photos taken of herself, for her fiance's Valentine's Day present. In most of the photos, she was wearing nothing but a mink. (faux)

She wanted a couple of us to help her select which one(s) to purchase the package, so she put them in an email folder, and sent them to us.

Or so she thought! Instead of sending them to "Only Friends", she sent them to "Office". She came within a hair's breadth of having sexual harrassment charges filed, and there were print-outs of some of the photos everywhere!

Needless to say, I will never group people again!!

Too funny - I'm imaging this frantic woman pulling her hair out and running crazy around an office.
