pledging/rushing as an alum

i was wondering what you could all tell me about pledging as a graduate?

i attended st joes in philly and started to pledge tri sig when i dropped because i was supposed to transfer... blablabla. anyway, i didnt transfer, i graduated st joes and now im a grad student @ philly u.

anyway, i have 3 relatives who are all deephers and an aunt (well ex aunt... anyway..) who was a founding sister @ northeastern!

so everyone in my family is always like ohh why don't you rush now that ur @ a school with a chapter, but is that weird?

a friend of mine in gamma phi delta @ lasalle said it's not uncommon/hard to rush and an alum.

please give me info!!! ;) ¢¾

NIC Fraternities and NPC Sororities have different rules regarding graduate membership.

If I'm not mistaken, only a few NPC sororities allow graduate membership. The others require that the members must be undergraduates.

Please do a search on GC for graduate membership, and it should bring up which sororities allow it. You might want to research Alumnae Initiation as well. ETA: I just wanted to clarify that graduate membership and AI are two totally different processes unrelated to each other.

Good luck.

No Problem!

Just check through the Theads and it will give You a better idea on AI (Alumni Association). :)

Stylishnsostef--
I sent you a private message. If you are interested in DPhiE specifically, I can give you information about our procedures.

Also, NPC and NPHC groups deal with graduate intake/membership differently.
