OMFG, that video should be made mandatory to watch before registering on GreekChat!

tld221 02-05-2006 06:33 PM

yeah, definitely should be part of the GC new member education protocol...

My former co-mod 12dn94dst sent it to me. As soon as I heard the OMFG, I thought of you.;)

Is there a reason nothing comes up after it "loads" or am I missing something?

Buttonz 02-05-2006 11:26 PM

That's great!

smiley21 02-06-2006 08:02 AM

That is freaking brilliant. I agree that people should be forced to read it before they register on GC.

SydneyK 05-05-2010 03:58 PM

Bump. I agree with the above posters who think this should be a mandatory step in the GC-registration process.

Yes- this is awesome. You know it's spot on when you can assign specific users, threads, or posts to each point.

One thing it left out (I'm sure it assumed this part was easy enough to figure out): in the "Make sure this is the right forum" piece, ensure it's the right forum overall. i.e. don't ask us for Greek translations, Greek recipes, Greek sexual orientation, or anything else about the country of Greece. Add that bit and we have a winner! :D
