Survivor - starts tonight

I like the 4 tribes. I thought it went by really fast tonight. The older women are insane though.

Maybe it'll be better, but now the time is divided between four tribes, so each will get only half the time for us to get acquainted with them (and watch them fight).

Seemed to be a lot more emphasis on cleavage.

I could not believe that the women got rid of the logger and not the leaf woman. They are going to flounder without her. And the young women walking around deciding where to live. Pick a place and start building. The ex smoker is going to crack. 3 packs a day... THat is a whole lotta cigarettes. At my worst I was only at a pack a day and kicking the habit really sucked. I couldn't imagine going cold turkey on that many.

I really liked it tonight. The exile island thing could be interesting, or could flop. Was this the first time that they had an immunity competition at the start of the game? Did anyone catch the faces of the three parts of the Immunity idol? It reminded me of "Speak no evil, hear no evil, see no evil". Then again, maybe it's me!

I just couldn't believe that guy didn't quit smoking before the show. Talk about the ultimate in MB manufactured "drama". Here we have a 3 pack a day smoker who started Survivor by going cold turkey. Oh, the television possibilities...but I bet the poor guy was miserable until he probably gets voted off of Exile Island. Can't see him sticking around long (and now that I've stated that publically, he'll probably win the game.)

Not at all surprised that the older women voted the logger out. She was really too much of a threat to ultimately win. We've seen it time and time again, the best/strongest player gets voted off because of their skill. It's Survivor, and that's a lot more than being able to live off the land. I noticed that Leaf woman is a nurse. I'm thinking she's seen as having value (nurse) while being nonthreatening (scared of her own shadow). If it's game play it's got the potential to be brilliant.

I can't believe it's the millionth season of Survivor and I'm STILL watching...
