Introducing a new Phi
 

Hello ladies :D. My name is Christina and I'm one of the new COB Phi's at the University of Florida! I just accepted my bid exactly a week ago and I'm so excited to begin this part of my life!

Yay! Congrats...I'm a new Phi too!

congratulations!! I'm a new Phi too.. and this time tomorrow, I'll be a fully initiated member!! wahoo for Phi Mu!! anyhoo... congrats again to both of ya'll!

Lucky! I don't have initiation until April 21st. I must have the longest Phi period ever!

Yeah, I don't get initiated til March 19th. But we also have Spring Break before then...starting tomorrow actually!

I think it'll all be worth it in the end...but the waiting is sooo hard!!!

yeah... i'm excited... i actually kinda like the whole phi period.. it was a ton of fun.. especially when i found out who my big was... it was awesome!! good luck to everyone!!! I'm so excited to be in Phi Mu.. and even more excited to get to meet more new members!!! Yay for everyone!!!

I get my big next Thursday! I'm stressing because I don't think the girl I want is going to take me, but they may be tricking me into thinking that!

I start getting clues next Monday, woo hoo!

Even if you don't get your top pick, whoever you end up with will be awesome. and. yeah.. the girls here definitly liked to play tricks on us.. liikke... oh, sorry.. you don't have a big.. or, like some of the potential bigs lied and said that they weren't taking a little when, in fact, they were... it made it a lot more fun when it was revealed. I had a hunch as to who my big would be, but i wasn't sure.. i'm glad i got my big. it's the bestest!! have fun!

Yeah, a few girls are trying to say they're not taking littles because they have no money or it's too much of a commitment.

The girls I hang out with are saying things about my "big" that they know I won't like. "Oh, I don't know if you'll get along with her really well. I know I don't like her much."

I think it's a joke though, why would I have a big I don't like?!

yeah... take it as a joke... play along with it too.. it makes it a lot more fun... but enjoy it.. and if it starts to get too much.... make sure you tell them that you're getting annoyed or whatever... i know that the girls here were very careful aout not taking it too far.. but it is a really fun process, so enjoy it!!! just remember.. next year you get to do the same thing!!!! i can't wait 'till i have a little!!

I know! Fall, woo hoo! I'm stressing over the "big" situation but I'm pretty confident in the fact that I have to get someone from my top 10 list, and I liked all those girls. My good friend, who's also a Phi, and I have been talking about everything the past 2-3 weeks. Who we want as a big, who said what about bigs, because we all hang out with the same girls. It's so insane. I'm excited but still a little scared.

I just wanna wish all of you phis out there good luck... i'm a fully-initiated member of Phi Mu now!!! wahoo!! it's absolutly amazing... and you all will love love love it!! LIOB!
