Please look at this hot mess- I hope you are sitting
A friend of mine e-mailed me this picture this morning and I am stunned to say the least. She doesn't know the source but I'll let the picture speak for itself.

^^^This is at school in the south, i can't remember the school, but the frat and sorority take turns dressing like each other and doing each others step. It's in fun, not to redicule or anything.
I need to find the email that I got. |
I see you received that email as well. ;)

Thanks Soror Treblk
I didn't know where the picture came from but for a minute I was thinking some Soror messed up and made some "Delta Gents" :(

While I love the internet, here is an example of something being spread out of context that's going to have a whole lot of folx getting the wrong idea. Now that we know the real deal, let's help nip it in the bud. Thanks treblk. |
I know it's supposed to be all in fun, but I think that it's still disrespectful. I do not appreciate seeing men in my glorious symbols, regardless of the reason. If others want to let the opposite sex wear their letters, that's their business. But I'd rather not see men, or ANY NON-DELTA in our symbols.

As I posted on AKA Avenue, who should we really be angry with?

I have no problem with anyone voicing their opinion when they have all the facts. But on a more general note, I am also talking about folx forwarding emails and posting information from an unoffical source and thinking it is official. I just think we need to be more careful about what we spread on public message boards. We have already seen too many instances of this. |
