city chapter

I am interested in transferring to a school where Zeta (and all other BGLOs for that matter) is represented, but intake is done through a city chapter. I was wondering if someone could enlighten me on this process. Is it the same as pledging on campus? Will there be a "line"? Will I have line sisters? This is something new to me, so if anyone could shed some light on this process I would be greatly appreciative. Thank you so much!

In due time http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif all will be revealed, and not a moment earlier. Be patient.

I sure hope you are not transferring to another school just for the sake of belonging to a BGLO!

No, ma'am! I am transferring from a community college (2 year institution)to a 4 year university to obtain my B.A. degree.

kammye,

I came through a city chapter and a city chapter is very similar to intaking through a campus chapter. It's nothing to worry about, and the process is not different enough to have a different procedure than intaking through a campus-based chapter.

Hope this helps.

Best,
Shelacious

Thanks, Shelacious! You've put my mind at ease. I have never heard of this, so I wasn't sure if it would be more difficult or what. Thanks again to all respondents!
