Lots of good news for SAM in the latest mag.

10 members at Illinois had 4.0 grades, and a chapter GPA of 3.49 (highest I've ever heard). Over 100 members.

Penn State raises $73,370 for Thon.

Aand alum Steve Wynn (Penn '63) opens a $2.7 bil casino on the Las Vegas strip (50 story, 2,700 rooms).

Sigma Alpha Mu was tops in GPA at Penn, too, for the fall 2005 term, with a 3.649, according to Penn's Greek life site. Congratulations to those chapters. The site lists the top 20 GPAs:

Those grades are absolutely unreal... the lowest Greek GPA would have been 2nd here last semester.

well, it IS UPenn, so its not unreal...

i meant it more in the "So remarkable as to elicit disbelief; fantastic" sense, rather than the "Not real or substantial; illusory" sense.
