A lot of Emory GLO news
http://www.emorywheel.com/vnews/disp.../43d6ad3659fc4
AEPi, which is currently the largest Emory fraternity with 65 members, was expelled from campus in 1994 because of hazing violations. While the fraternity was moving out at the end of the semester, a couch was dropped out of a window and accidentally struck the fraternity’s chapter advisor, who was forced to undergo brain surgery. |
The news is actually that AEPi now will be living in the old Pike house there until the Greek complexes that the university is building are finished (2010?).

Razed (torn down) would seem to be what is happening. |

Raised = put up, constructed I think they are razing the DTD house, so a new freshman dorm can be raised at the same spot. |

I think they are building new sorority "townhouses" at that location, but I could be wrong.
