No we don't have a website yet, but we are working on it, we have been very busy lately we have a Rush Meeting Tuesday Jan. 31, 2006 and we have to get things ready. We also have other things that we do.

Are you located at Copiah-Lincoln? I'm full of questions! What are your org's basics? Colors, symbol, motto, founding information, etc.??

Colors are Pink and Silver, Motto is Nu Girls wear Diamonds and Pearls, founded in 2004, Symbol is the Butterfly. It is not Inc, yet,but we are raising money to get it their. The guys are working on starting up a frat, at one time they did but I don't know what happen I wasn't their at the time. Anything else you want to know?

yes, I have some questions:

These are basic questions you are going to here from interests (prospects):

When and why was your sorority founded?
Goals?
Symbols and Mascots?
What do your letters mean?
Why did you choose those colors? Symbols?
What's you line name? (assuming your org gives "names" to members, like mine is Ndigayenza which means "I can do it").
What are you all about? I mean, are you just another org? or do you do things important to the growth of yourself/community/school/women, etc?
What sets your org apart from alot of these older ones and why should someone want to become a member?
Why did you choose to be a member of your org and not an already established one?

Yeah, that's a lot of questions and you may not be able to answers some because of confidentiality. But these are some questions you may get asked. And for the ones you can answer, you might consider posting on the site your responses. Alot of the questions are real basic stuff you'd put on your own website. It's important that you know the answers to all the questions even if it is classified info for sisters only.
Anyways, congrats and welcome to the greek world. Who knows, maybe there can even be a SIA/EPhiN collabo ;)

Technically I did answer some of the questions was asked is answered if you read carefully, but I will try to give you some more details.

The Sorority is called Epsilon Phi Nu, found October 20, 2004( I wasn't their at the time)They believed that the sorority would give students at Co-Lin the chance to unite together in helping others including the community in their desired academic success; therefore, they listed as their purpose "to promote education through academic excellence."

Colors are Powder Pink and Silver
Symbol: Butterfly
Favorite Saying: Nu girls wear diamonds and pearls


Last but not least my Line Name is Pink Pearlfection and my Line Number is #4

This is a community college, right? What other Greek orgs are on campus? (Do they have websites?) I'm interested in understanding how GLOs work on a 2-year schedule. Any insight?

This is the only sorority on the campus the others are clubs, but to answer your other question, we do everything other organizations do. Do you have another question?
