To the sisters of Pi Phi
Hello Ladies!
I came across this "location" while I was visiting Gatlinburg with my friend Melissa and I had to take a picture (well pictures), so that I could share with y'all on Greekchat! http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a3...i/IMG_0587.jpg http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a3...i/IMG_0588.jpg |
Thank you for posting that! I've only seen Arrowmont from far away and I want to go back and take some arts and crafts courses--Gatlinburg is pretty close! My daughter went last weekend.
Y'all, to see more of Arrowmont: www.arrowmont.org |
You are very welcome!
I saw it when I was walking by and I thought "OMG this is so cool". I had to take a picture. (Although my friend, who isn't Greek didn't understand my excitement. LOL) |
Thanks for posting the picture. :) I've always wanted to go to Gatlinburg but have never been able to.

I've taken several pictures of Arrowmont as well. My family has a cabin in Gatlinburg, and when we walked by I got excited and made everyone stop. They did think it was a little odd that I was so excited about a piece of a sorority's history other than my own, but I thought it was really cool.

I saw that when I was there a few weeks ago and forgot about it totally. I had to look twice when we passed it!

Come in the spring, when the dogwoods are in bloom, or fall, which is spectacular. I live about 50 miles away in Knoxville. It's a beautiful part of the country.
If you look at some of the photographs from the Arrowmont collection, you'll see the surname Reagan. One of my great-grandfathers was a Reagan. So the children in those pictures would be distant cousins of mine. |
