Serious Sirius Help

So once I get better, I'm going to try to hook this up. I'm looking to get a portable device that I can either plug earphones or an FM transmitter too, but the Best Buy website says I have to get a bunch of other stuff.

What else do I have to buy besides the subscription if I just want a portable unit (not the boom box).

We don't have portable units in Canada, but if you're buying the S50, you shouldn't need anything other than a subscription. I'd check the Sirius website at sirius.com to make sure.

The package I got for my bf came with everything he needed for his car. I don't know about the earbuds and stuff.

Try Circuit City.

I ended up going with an XM portable, but I'm definitely happy with my choice.

No more Clear Channel ruining my music! In the past thirty I've heard Tribe, BDK (twice) and Ice-T....Hopefully I won't need the antenne to walk around or drive.

XM Radio rocks. I have had mine for the last 2 and half years and I still love it.

My bf and I LOVE our MyFI xM satellite radios. We took my mom out to a hockey game. She was able to listen to the ENTIRE Duke basketball game (mad for some funny moments when she was trying to "restrain" her emotions through the game.)

There is an antenna and holster that you will need for the XM MyFi to work with your regular car stereo. Call XM up to discuss that and other concerns with them!

I got the Delphi portable and it came with the Home Stand and Vehicle dock, and I the terrestrial signal is good enough for walking if I'm not near a bunch of tall buildings. I'm considering getting the antenna headphones, but I don't think I need them.

I had XM for a year and recently changed to Sirius. I really liked XM. I only changed to get my man Howard. I love that guy! He makes my mornings so much better!!

*I am bumping this up because I am having trouble*

My boyfriend got me sirius for christmas... I got it early so we could get it installed before the after christmas rush.

He got me the sportster replay. When going to get it hooked up, they told us how we should get the FM direct adapter installed too to eliminate static.

We problem we activated it and I am getting static. When I change stations I hear static and its static slightly in the background. Its barely there, but sometimes on pauses in music or something you can hear it.

Is this from the direct adapter?

Has anyone else had this problem?

He has sirius, but its directly through his kenwood CD player. I got it for him a year ago and he has never heard this before.

Please help... I am going to take it by them again, but I would like to hear from someone else.
