Dumb office help
 

I just called my eye doctor-- he has the DUMBEST girl working for him. (i think they are related, its the only way she could keep the job!)
I called to see if my contacts are in. Here is our conversation...

(you need to do her voice in a high pitched, sing songy kind of way)

her: "Onsight, Can I help you?"

me: "This is winnieb, I was calling to see if my contacts came in."

her: "yes. I mean, well I don't know- I will look. Hold on, can you?"

me: "sure thing."

her: "the contact log shows they arrived"

me: "great. how late are you there- i will stop in and get them."

her: "you want to pick them up?"

me: "they are in correct?"

her: "well the log says they arrived, so they were here- but have you picked them up yet?"

me: "ummmmmm no."

her: "ok if you haven't been in to get them then we should probably have them."

me: "ok, i will be in to get them"

Ok---- this is the girl that always answers the phones, makes the appointments, does eye screenings, etc. If I picked up the contacts why would I call to ask if they had them.....

Wow, I wonder how she affects business?

I am just so out of it today -- my cell doesn't work, my allergies are on overdrive...so when I went to copier to make some copies, I literally stood there for about an hour because I couldn't remember how to use the copier. :(

I've been this way all week. I think I have finally killed too many brain cells to function. hmmm. Only took 36 years.lol
