Fake Zetas??
 

In an attempt to politely address this issue....Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. is an organization running over with beautiful, intelligent, and industrious women. Women who have worked very hard for the privilege to wear the letters and know the things Zeta Women know. We are very flattered when women express an interest in our organization and are even more pleased when women pursue membership. However, we are not happy at all when women try to fraud and fake their membership in Zeta. This is disrespectful to the more than 100,000 women who have molded Zeta by merit and rite.

We encourage women who are interested in Zeta to go through the proper channels, and not risk bringing shame and embarassment to yourself through perpetrating. This message is out of love and respect for those who care enough to respect themselves.

Girl, I'm feeling what you're saying! We work hard for Zeta and make a lifelong commitment. In that same vein, there are more perpetrators on the internet than anywhere. Anyone can sign up for
email/ greekchat/etc to perpetrate nowadays. Everytime you talk to a 'soror' in a chat room, you have to be weary. There are a few exceptions out there, the FinerWoman list for example, but there are very few.

There's a Zeta chat that you can go to...which surely perps can't get into because you have to know the password...otherwise...guess what!! I tried to get in a meet some sorors before I pledged...just to ask some stuff and I couldn't get in. SPR' 00: Omicron Pi Chapter

I had to bring this back up to the top because I have had an encounter with a perp. I've heard stories but this is the first time I actually met someone who was a perp and I'm truly blown away. The world is small....don't perp!

I understand what you all mean by people being perps.
I am not your soror but i am a high school interestee and i know that in order to wear those letters is a privelage not a right. I don't think that's cool at all for people to fake, i say, do it the right way. You all EARNED those 3 special letters with all of your heart. I guess you can't really stop people from being perps though. I just agree seriously with what you all are saying.

I have never met a perp. To me, it is a waste of time to be one. It is better to be honest just go through the correct channels to become a soror.

Most of the time perps get confused and all caught up with the lying. All the time and energy they put in perping they could spend that time gaining knowledge of the org. of their choice and pursuing it. We welcome sisters that show an honest interest in our ORGANIZATION with open arms. Remember: Anything worth having is worth working for!!!;) ;) ;)

I am not a zeta but I am also an interestee and I would never perpertrate being a zeta. I can totally understand everything you all went through to become a zeta and I think that it is disrepectful for people to perpertrate being a zeta. If anybody knows where I can get books or information on zeta phi beta it would really be helpful.
