Spring 06 Rush Results
 

My two schools don't start for a few more weeks, but I know that some campuses we are on have finished rush. Does anyone have results yet? I need my rush fix!

Gamma Nu - Quota was 43 - Alpha Phi matched 43 awesome new members.

Oh and I would like to add...we completely ROCKED THE HOUSE.

Hi yall! I'm from Epsilon Eta at ODU and we just held our first informal recruitment event tonight! It was such a success...15 women came out! I know it's a small number but we have very small chapters here so it's awesome! And even better because we only have less than half of that number of spaces available! How is formal/informal recruitment going for everyone else?

(MReed [Molly] is our Recruitment Advisor...I know she'll be VERY happy to hear our news!!!)

I just heard that Boston University got quota plus 2 for 34 new members! It sounds like they had an amazing rush!

One of my schools is done with rush. Tufts did wonderfully, matching quota of 23 women!

There must be more results out there! Someone else let us know!

After a very long, but fun two weekends of recruitment, I am happy to report that the Theta Phi Chapter at Christopher Newport University had bids accepted from 13 women. Quota was 15 (this year we had an extra group, making quota lower than hoped for).

As far as I know there were two women already in mind, b/c our recruitment team is AMAZING and one was a woman who left recruitment before preference.

Unfortunately, while we bid quota plus one during matching, we had three women not accept bids the next morning. Panhellenic has expressed they communicated how preference cards work, but it affected three out of five groups.

Also with a new GA, things were quite jumbled, which I'm hoping will be addressed in the recruitment roundtables.

Gamma Rho at Penn State held informal rush and got 10 lovely new bears!

Bid matching was last night for Bentley College (Zeta Rho). We had to wait 5 days between the end of rush and bid matching because our GA went to two conferences. We matched 25! This more than doubles the chapter and makes us the 2nd largest on campus. We don't have quota on this campus, so every chapter was able to take enough women to bring them to total. I have been working for 3 years to get us to this point, I am beyond happy!

URI took I think 14 women in Spring recruitment (it might have been slightly less) whatever the number was it puts the chapter at ceiling.

What is completely amazing is they had 60 women show up for their informal recruitment - way to rush Iota Delta!!!
