Dartmouth '06 Sorority Winter Rush Results
The Friday, January 13, 2006 issue of The Dartmouth reports the results of winter term sorority rush, which is much smaller than fall term rush. The six sororities extended bids --
NPC: Kappa Kappa Gamma - 7 Delta Delta Delta - 6 Alpha Xi Delta - 5 Locals: Epsilon Kappa Theta - 12 Sigma Delta - 7 Kappa Delta Epsilon - 6 Fifty-two women registered; 49 attended first round. So it looks like almost 88 percent of those who actually began recruitment received bids. Although some women chose to drop out, no women were cut by all the sororities, according to the article at http://www.thedartmouth.com/article....=2006011301020 |
Good for them and a very interesting. I wonder if the other three girls had not dropped, would they have been placed? Although, seldom do you see 100% placement.

Great Results. Lots of eyes watching this campus. They are in the midst of NPC extension.

I have a good friend who is a Dartmouth AXO and was terribly upset when they lost their charter.

Ooh yay! Two of my friends from high school are Thetas. So happy for them!

National: Sigma Phi Epsilon - 5 Sigma Nu - 5 Psi Upsilon - 1 Sigma Alpha Epsilon - 1 Theta Delta Chi - unknown For the others -- Gamma Delta Chi, Phi Delta Alpha, Tri-Kap, Chi Gamma Epsilon, Chi Heorot, Alpha Chi Alpha, Bones Gate, and Alpha Delta (or is this the national Alpha Delta Phi?) -- I recommend going to the paper's site http://www.thedartmouth.com and using their search tools or heading into their archives for the Jan. 10 article. And if you find out more, or locate an update, let us know. |
