I'll give the benefit of the doubt and assume that TaskKb isn't asking for secrets.

I would say that most of us would say the great memories and feeling of accomplishment, and a sense of belonging to something really special.

My favorite part involved peanut butter and the house cat.

I liked the feeling I got right before initiation...being really excited, not knowing what was going to happen, etc.

I liked getting to know my fellow new members prior to the ceremony. And just the excitement of knowing I was taking part in a ceremony that 1000s of women before me had also participated in-- and that it was something that 1000s after would also experience.

What's smart ass about it? The poster posted in two forums asking about initiation? We have people fishing for ritual all the time.

Well then, why don't you share what YOU liked best about YOUR initiation with the original poster?

(I'm guessing it was where everyone came to their senses and chased you out of the room with baseball bats.)

Similar to adpiucf, I thought about all the men around the country and through time that had gone before me, and after.

Throught the same experience that men had undergone since 1845.

It was a bit overwelming as I was a founding father of my chapter. So our initiation was performed by staff of our national headquarters and select alumni. I knew it would be performed flawlessly. And it was.

That was 19 years ago. Seems like yesterday. Now I just sound old.
