Oscar Winner Hilary Swank & Hubby Split

Too bad. This was one couple that actually avoided the usual media rags & seemed happy.

He realized her manly build was more fit to race the Kentucky Derby or swing a sledge hammer than lay in bed with him I suppose.

That's a shame; it's got to be painful to end a marriage in the public eye like that.

It seems that in Hollywood, marriages where the woman is more powerful than the man in show business don't often last 'til death do them part. Case in point, Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey. There are others, but my brain freeze hasn't yet been melted by my morning coffee.

I've wondered from time to time how long Reese Witherspoon and that cute but inconsequental Ryan dude will last.

I was really stunned by this...i mean jessica and nick i can see.....but these two are always sooo a happy together and well suited for one another... i was really sad to really hear this.

Well, she did forget to mention him when she won an Oscar....that can't lead to happy feelings.

I see them lasting for awhile, just because Reese has admitted that she and Ryan have gone to marriage counseling. So I see them as a couple who really "work" to make their marriage last. But then again, no one walks into a marriage thinking "oh I'm going to divorce him/her in five years anyways". Unfortunately things just don't work out and I think being in the limelight, as Hollywood is, just doesn't help.

If I ever married a famous person, there is no way in hell I would want to live in LA or NY, just because the Paparazzi is EVERYWHERE!!!!

I think some people actually do think that way.

I read today that Hilary and Chad are trying to save their marriage.

So we shall see.

Oh and kids (to have or not to have) was not an issue. :p
