Attire for Bid day?

Hi again! :) I'm not sure if this has already been covered. I've read what to wear during rush, and I've looked at my school's Greek website, but I can't find a definate answer, so I was hoping someone would know. Anyways, my question is this: What should you wear for Bid Day?

It depends on the school. Some ask that you wear sundresses, while others might just say jeans and a t-shirt. At my school (Kent State), the girls just wear jeans or a jean skirt and any top since once you run to your chapter, you get your Bid Night shirt and put it on. :)

At Auburn, the girls wear shorts and a shirt because they put on their bid day shirts when they get to their new sororities :)

Don't they tell you what to wear when you get a bid? I know once I got my bid I was told to wear PJs because we had Bid Night and a slumber party.

If the individual chapters have their own websites, chances are they'll have pictures from Bid Days past.

So many questions.... :o

Yep, someone--your rush counselor, or the school, or somebody--should tell you. We wore white dresses on Bid Day, and it was stated in the little booklet the school sent out, plus our Rho Chis mentioned it to us.

Absolutely ask your Rush Counselor!! Since it's winter, I doubt that you'll be wearing shorts or a sundress, so she'll be the best guide for what to do. Plus, it will make your Rho Chi feel needed! ;)
