Good Greek Websites
I just spent a decent amount of time looking through GC threads to see if there is one on this already. Didn't see anything. If there is, please let me know.
If not, I was wondering about Greek websites. Which chapters have great sites or national sites. Looking through some, I have yet to see some really good ones. I know that some nationals give out awards for best web sites, so please share some urls of some good greek sites for me to check out. Thanks |
I think some of the individual forums have threads on websites - check there.

Most larger schools tend to have pretty good websites. UF, Ole Miss, etc.
|
Thanks for the compliment about Ole Miss but our Greek website is just average....
here are some good ones to look at: http://www.vanderbilt.edu/greek_life/ http://www.sa.sc.edu/greeklife/ http://www.greeklife.fsu.edu/ https://fp.auburn.edu/greek// http://www.k-state.edu/greek/recruitment/greeklife.htm http://www.uga.edu/greeklife/ |
I was thinking more of national orgs and individual chapters. Thanks for the link though. Those will be helpful too.

go to www.npcwomen.org and they have a link to all NPC groups international/national websites on there...sorry I thought you meant like Greek site....

Basically all the Beta individual chapters are linked through this thread. Kansas State, Georgia Tech, Miami, and East Carolina are some of the better ones. |
As I have a graduating senior who will probably be going through recruitment next year, I have been going through the sites of the NPC groups that will be on her campus. My own GLO is mostly member-only, I assume for security reasons.
Of the ones that stand out in my mind: KD has a nice site (very easy to cross-reference) as does Pi Phi and Theta. |
I have looked through all of the NPC national sites and many of the NIC national sites and am mostly looking for individual chapter sites of distinction. sites that are easy to use and pleasing to the eyes

GC chapter website thread
Here's a pretty big thread where different GC users posted their chapter website links! |
that was great thanks. too bad half of the links/sites weren't working. but some of those were really great sites. keep them coming.
|
Thanks for those Christian ones. Had not seen them before. as far as your lists. Your panhel top 4 would be many of my favorites.
for me a good site is one that is simple and clean and crisp. Images should be very clear and of good quality and there should not be too much information, movement, too many different colors or too much going on on the homepage. I also love it when the home page fits nicely on the screen with little to no scrolling. the best individual chapter sites I've found (from the other thread) are the UCF chapter of Alpha Delta Pi http://www.adpiucf.com/ , Nu Alpha Chapter of Chi Omega http://www.chiomega.com/nualpha/content/?chapterID=92 , Georgia Tech Chapter of Delta Chi http://www.gtdeltachi.com/ , and I love the set up of this site from the Penn Chapter of Phi Kappa Sigma (minus the frames)http://dolphin.upenn.edu/~phikap/ . It used to be even betetr til they recently changed it. The georgia tech chapter of Phi Kappa Sigma, also is great but is not workign right now. Keep these good sites coming. |
good sites
Take a look at this one. I'm the webmistress for the Alpha Gamma Colony of Theta Nu Xi. We just started last semester.
Since we are new and small, we rely on our site to be information when people want to learn more. http://www.tcnj.edu/~tnx |
Sigma Nu's hasn't been updated in awhile... I hope that changes soon.
www.sigmanu.org for anyone interested. |
