Well, it depends if there are some trees near your Chapter House, or Pledge House etc

Rope/string/twine tied around 2 trees and then create a spider web type design, but big enough spaces for people to move through.

For example, there are 12 holes and 10 Pledges (I hope that I am using the term 'Pledge' in the correct context), each Plegde has to go through the web, but can only use one hole per pledge.

I do this at my Scout camps, as a Patrol team building exercise, it is also a good co-operation game, as you have to discuss which person is going where etc.

I hope that helps?

Hey Jemma,
Great idea, that would be a good game to try. As to the term usage... AGD and more other NPC chapters don't use this term anymore. When speaking about what was once termed Pledges...we use New Members.

Rushees = Potential New Members (PNM)
Pledges = New Members (NM)

If you already have an Undergrad degree, then will you be getting a post-bac degree or a graduate (Masters) degree? I know that our education system has different levels for degrees/schooling then other countries. University for you would be high school or something like that, right?

It is the same as College, just the UK has Highter Education Colleges (degrees, Masters etc) and Further Education Colleges (kinda like a Adult classes, but can start there at 16)

Many colleges in the US have graduate programs too.

BTW, there isn't such a thing as a "new member house" or "pledge house" Most new members are in their first year and live on campus in residence halls. Just FYI

Thank you for correcting my terminology about the housing, I didn't know what to but sorry!
