What's everyone doing tonight?
 

I'm still making up my mind... several groups of friends going different places. But i've had a crazy week, i've been out every night, and part of me just wants to stay at home and watch movies.

Going to a party at my friend's house. :)

I'm hanging out at home with my sweetie. I feel bad that I can't go out and party with him since I'm pregnant, but I guess we better get use to it. ;) Some of our friends are having get togethers but I really don't feel like going and I don't want to be around a lot of smoke.

The is me and Mr. OTW's first NYE together and he won't even be on the same damn island because he leaves for Kapalua, Maui in a few hours. :(

I haven't decided what I'm going to do yet. The sisters want to bar hop in Waikiki, but I don't want to be around couples because I don't want to be depressed.

The best friend has something going on with her dancer friends, and I was invited...don't know if I want to be around prissy beautiful people.

Then there's always my bar (fka the bar I used to work at). It's ohana night so all drinks are on the house...and we get to pop firecrackers outside.

But like Dani, part of me just wants to stay home and watch movies. I've got family coming over and the kids get to pop firecrackers and fireworks, but they anticipate no winds tonight, so that means keeping the inhaler handy!

I have a couple different friends up in the area... of course they are all over the suburbs!!! so I'll probably just go to a local party that my friend is having...

but I kinda just want to stay in... I'm not really feeling it this year and I have to work a double shift tomorrow so I'm not sure what I'll end up doing... :(

What you don't like it?? I would have never guessed from the 29 other posts that say the same thing!!!

My little and I are going to the block party thing at Station Square. It will probably be cheesy and crowded, but hopefully there will be, if not hot men, people there for us to make fun of.

This is going to be a hard one (my first single NYE in a long time) and I hope I get through it without crying or going off on some unsuspecting passerby for no apparent reason.

After we get the kids to sleep, Mr. KR and I are going to grill some steaks and fix baked potatoes and salad then watch whatever television countdown show we decide on. Then at midnight, we'll open a bottle of champagne and sit out on the back deck where we can watch the Baltimore fireworks.

Going to a middle eastern restaurant to watch belly dancers. After that, I don't know. People are either going to First Night or staying in with their SOs. I don't feel like being around a lot of crowds and being outside, so that cancels out First Night. I hope someone somewhere is having or going to a party, but I'm not having luck finding any.

Sitting at home being freakin lazy. My honey is in VA right now, and he has to work tomorrow, and I had to work yesterday so there was no point in spending the money for either of us to travel today. I've got chili in the crock pot and cosmopolitans calling my name. Law and Order marathon on TV and I'm good to go.

The kids just left for their dad's house an hour ago and I'm sitting here thinking "I know I'm old now because I'm happy to be alone on NYE, doing what I want, in my comfy jeans and sweatshirt."

I may fall asleep before midnight. It's been a very long, busy couple of weeks and I'm just tired.

Gonna stay home and watch the countdown and get plotzed on Asti Spumante in the comfort of my own home. Then don my flak jacket and Kevlar helmet as the ya-hoos empty the clips outta their guns on New Years...:D
