Me too. I didn't get over that 'til I was about five.

i don't think parents should take their kids to meet santa until they're old enough to be able to handle it. infants naturally have an aversion to strangers and the color red. put them together, and oh geez i wonder why they cry and scream?

(sorry for the mini-rant)

My daughter (15 months old) loves Santa and says, "Ho Ho Ho," whenever she sees an image of him. Unfortunately, when we took her to meet the big guy in person this year, she got really shy and refused to sit on his lap. So, now we've got a picture of Daddy, Mommy and Baby dzrose93 all sitting on Santa's lap together this year. It's cute, but I'm hoping she'll be ready to go solo next year. :D

Last year, she was sleeping when she visited Santa and we've got the cutest photo of him holding her and looking down with his finger over his mouth in a "Shhhh" gesture.
