Cute things that you have stolen lately

In the great GC tradition of corrupting threads...

I stole a "cute" rocks glass from a bar last weekend...if I had been wearing my other jacket I would have stolen the martini glass.

I approve of this parody thread. I really want to steal some glasses from the bar my study groups frequent, but I also want to keep going back there. :(

This reminds me of my old roomate and sister melissa. she used to take glasses from all kinds of places. the coolest one we have is a big glass with red swirled through it

When I was down in Lexington my friends and I use to steal cups from just about every bar we went to. If we hadn't we wouldn't have had cups. ;)

My friends and I have a tradition of getting one thing from just about every bar we go to. I have a shelf in my room devoted to what has become a rather extensive collection of beer glasses, a fishbowl, and a shaker. I hope to get a pitcher to join their ranks soon.

I had a brother that moved far beyond shot glasses and beer cups...he started getting barstools from his favorite bars.

see now that's just impressive, I tip my non-existant hat to him

Yeah, we got a few peeps in my chapter who likes to gank glasses from bars.

Does this remind anyone else of the episode of 7th Heaven where Mary gets caught stealing a glass from the local diner, and then they end up in court and all the kids start bringing back everything they'd stolen...and it was about enough for 6 diners...

My friend takes the "Stealing from Bars" gold medal...he stole a rolling ladder that the bartenders use to change a marquee. An 8 foot tall rolling ladder. And nobody, including him, has any idea how he did it.

OMG that's awesome.

approximately a million years ago, my best friend stole one of the real Starbucks mugs (what they give you if you order your coffee "for here" instead of "to go.") It's nasty, chipped, and wrapped in gaffer's tape now, and I desperately want to steal him a new one, but I have not yet worked up enough courage. Esp. since one of my other good friends now works at Starbucks, which increases the guilt factor...

I've got one group of friends who used to steal pitchers - but not one at a time. They had competitions to see how many they could smuggle out - the all-time champ is my buddy J, who got 7 pitchers in his coat/pants/hands out of the Sports Column in Iowa City.

Another guy steals neon signs, but has a terrible issue with breaking them on the way out - he'll have it out the door, take off, then drop it and break part of it (rendering it useless).
