First, there was "no comment". Now, he admits to the "spying".
So, I guess when my linesisters in Turkey and Iraq call me, we were being spied on? I mean dayum, we were just discussing "old times", what was going on in the sates... etc. etc.
I guess we were secretly planning an attack. :rolleyes:

And the funny thing is, he was voted in twice. This establishes the fact that alot of Americans are morons. Only a yutz would elect a yutz for president.

Getting your freak on in the oval office?

Stealing the National election, lying about WMD, invading not one but TWO sovereign countries, spying on American citizens...etc?


Personally, I think the media has been co-opted...

Yeah, Clinton did get his freak on but he also converted the largest budget deficit in American history to the largest surplus of over $200 billion, had the lowest unemployment rate in 30 years and created more than 22 million new jobs. Maybe Bush should consider getting an intern?

so now bush's poll numbers are going up? why is that? almost every time bush is in the news, it's not necessarily for the positive. he seems to be begging the public to support this invasion and folks/putzes are buying into his talk.

ATLANTA (AP) -- U.S. Representative John Lewis said in a radio
interview on Monday that President Bush should be impeached if he broke the law in authorizing spying on Americans.

The Democratic congressman from Georgia told WAOK-AM that he would sign a bill of impeachment if one was drawn up and that the House of Representatives should consider such a move.

Lewis is among several Democrats who have voiced discontent with Sunday night's television speech, where Bush asked Americans to continue to support the Iraq War. Lewis is the first major House figure to suggest impeaching Bush.

Lewis said --quote-- "It's a very serious charge, but he violated
the law.The president should abide by the law. He deliberately,
systematically violated the law. He is not King, he is president."

Profiling --- in the interest of national security - of course. Hey, maybe they'll start "blacklisting" Americans because of our purchases, posts, comments, and opinions as being communism.

It just kills me when politicians get on the news and say "our troops agree with the mission and support the president 100%" As a member of the military I can say "the hell we do!" Now of course there are troops who agree and people who don't agree with what we are doing in Iraq. But to get on t.v. and tell you all (the american public) that a MAJORITY of troops agree is a lie. I would say it's about 50/50. Of course troops can't say that because it could kill your career. I have no problem defending AMERICAN citizens and possibly losing my life or a limb, but it urks me that my Soldiers are over here risking their lives to give foreigners things that even people in our own country don't have. I'm all for "helping", but only at certain costs.

I may not agree 100% with Rep Lewis and Murtha but at least they are calling Bush out.....the rest of the Democratic Party hasn't done much of anything :mad:
