gpa requirement?
I'm really interested in joining APO at my school.
Unfortunately, I'm most likely going to be put on academic probation because I didn't do very good in classes my first semester. Not only do I WANT to join APO, but I think being involved will help me focus more. Can I be denied because of my grades, or is it a chapter specific decision? Thanks! |
My chapter didn't have a GPA requirement. I am not sure if other chapters do or not.

There is not a National GPA requirement; however, chapters must abide by their university/college requirememts when they set their own standards for GPA.

Thanks- I asked one of the APO members here and I won't be able to join until next semester.

I'm happy to hear that you have an interest in my fraternity but you should realize that Alpha Phi Omega can be a serious time committment. You should really evaluate if you are able to take on more. Being active in Alpha Phi Omega can take up as much time as an extra class sometimes.
Good luck with everything! Keep us updated! |
Good luck on your grades and I pray that you do well in school where you would be able to pledge. Remember, that Alpha Phi Omega involves a lot of time. I mean the service that we do is outstanding. Like my frat brother mentioned in her post, evaluate yourself to see if this is the organization for you when it comes to time. Good luck in your interest with Alpha Phi Omega and be blessed.
