UW fraternity to be featured on morning shows Thursday

The University of Washington fraternity featured in The Seattle Times Tuesday for its good manners is enjoying a moment in the national limelight.

Two morning TV shows - "Good Morning America" on ABC and "Today" on NBC - plan to air segments on Sigma Phi Epsilon Thursday morning. The frat has transformed a boozy past to embrace a new program called "Balanced Man."

I just saw the story on the SPE this morning on the "Today" Show. Can I just say how impressed I was to see what they had done to improve their Fraternity. I just hope other chapters pick up on their idea. Way to go!

I just saw it as well. Looks like a fine group of young men. Kudos to SFE for making it happen and good luck to them in the future.

they represented themselves and their headquarters very well on the today show.

I just saw this piece and it was wonderful. I'm glad this is working and I know these young men will be able to recruit more men like them.

It sounds like maybe SPE is turning a very good corner!

But, the problem is, OUR speaking of Greeks Moment of Good is fleeting and the Bad is forever!:(

We get very little credit for what We do. But sure catch hell when We dont!:rolleyes:

I know what My Chapter does and do Internationally. I dont know what all others do, but it is a bunch!

What if We all turned into Animal House and No One did any thing?:(

i saw them on the today show and i thought they were great!! truthfully, i give big kudos to sig ep's national officiers for allowing the chapter to go on tv! the chapter seemed like a nice group of guys and it is great that they are turing around their image!!!
