socials for rush
 

i was wondering if anyone had any ideas for socials that would be fun to have during rush?

Ice Cream social- have ice cream and toppings- easy to do and relatively cheap

a "Mocktail" Party- you can have different rooms or different areas of a room designated as a certain drink (all non-alcholic of course!)

Vegas Game night- same set up as a Mocktail party, except with different games- poker, blackjack, etc.


.....I can't think of anything else right now

we have a very informal style of rushing. it could even be an actually cocktail party.. we were going to do that last year.

I really like all those ideas and I will remember them in the spring.

We do informal rush too. In the past, we've done potlucks, Luau Night (with tropical mocktails), Mardi Gras Night (I don't really know what we did for that since I wasn't around that semester). We've also done rush events where we go out for laser-tag, ice-skating, Sushi Night, mini-golf, hayrides, bowling, pool.
