Thanks, that helps a lot in understanding the situation.:)

hughesfan02, I think You are making a step in the right direction!

It is a shame if You are carrying the Load you are, there should be more understanding amongst Your Sisters.

Greek Life can be an expensive thing and any and all should realize that. But, to force someone in a financial situation over a T-Shirt or other items is toatlly wrong. Greek Life is like anything else, it is expendable income and money only goes so far. Say Either eat or buy a T-Shirt for a function. They, Your Sisters should be a little more concerned about You a Sister and Your Situation first.

As a Senior, You have spent X amount of Years with Your Organization and probably done many things with and for them.

Sit down with Your Ex. Commettee or whom ever and discuss it.

As was stated on Your other Thread, being a Member is for life and should be.:)

College is 4-5 Years, You have a whole life ahead of You!:) :D

In my sorority we have what is called "Senior Alumna Status" or SAS. You are only required to pay 1/2 the dues and attend 1/2 the meetings. It's for sisters who are in their last semester of school or who are close to being done that don't want to go inactive but don't have as much time to devote to the sorority.
