Convention 2006 in VA
 

Is anyone planning on heading out to Virginia for convention this coming summer? I know it's a way away, but I'm pumped since it's practically in my backyard this go around.

i'm hoping to have moved to richmond just before convention, so if all goes well i will be there! i'm really excited because it will give me a chance to see some sisters from home right after i move, and also be the first time i'll ever celebrate the 4th of july in our nation's capital!

do you know what the cost is, or any other details? i haven't heard anything yet.

I am definately planning on attending. In fact I will be a confirmed conventionite (my third convention). My husband comes with me and sightsees when I'm in meetings. I think conventions are awesome because it takes you to places that you may have never thought about visiting before (not this time, but in the past).

This is all that I have found so far regarding the 2006 convention. July 5-9.

SigmaKappaRoyal, you should get ahold of the alumnae in the Richmond area! I can PM you contact info if you want. They'll be going for sure, and they are a terrific group of women. :)

Every time I wish & hope that they have it in Southern California so I can attend. I would love that! Then I'd be there in a heartbeat. :)

It is pretty cool that Sigma Kappa & Chi Omega will be having convention so close to each other.
