Surgery

I'm coming to a point now where my surgery is getting very close. I've been re-evaluating my life and thinking many things through and just wanted to say that even though I don't post as much as I used to, I constantly lurk and keep up with you ladies. Hope all is well and continues to be that way....

Sigma Love... always.

I'm concerned for your surgery, I've had a friend go through the same surgery & has had less than pleasant results. I'm not sure if you want to talk about it here but you can PM/email/leave me a comment on my LJ if you want to know what happened to my friend.

Take care!

I wondered what was going on with my Indiana road dog! I hadn't posted on here that much either until here recently. What's going on? If you don't want to get into just PM me. I'll keep you in my prayers. If you need a great big hug, just let me know.

Not too much going on. I'm having gastric bypass surgery this coming Thursday. Woohoo! :)

how are ya feeling

DigitalAngel126 12-11-2005 11:18 AM

Feeling great, all things considered! Haven't used my vicodin since Thursday (day of surgery), and have only used my ibuprofen once a day for the past two days. I've been up and around, and yesterday my mom and I went grocery shopping for about an hour. Right now I'm eating my breakfast - one ounce sugar free cherry vanilla yogurt and one once gerber step one baby fruit - apples and blueberries. Never in my life thought I'd be excited about eating baby food. Haha!! I really can't figure out why I'm not in any pain to speak of, except late at night, but I'm not complaining!! I'm supposed to go back to work a week from tomorrow and it looks like that will work out for me. I don't know that I want to go back to work though!! HAHA!

I'll try to keep you updated, I'll have plenty of time at home! :) Love you girls!

good luck with your recovery! we had two ladies in our chapter get this done last year and it worked well for both of them, inside and out. i think they both felt a lot healthier and happier.

Feel better! I know someone who had great success with this surgery and is pleased with the results. I hope that you have a similar result. :)
