Alpha Tau Chapter?
 

Hello ladies, I am a Phi Mu from Pi Chapter at the University of Maine. I recently bought a badge on ebay...I thought it was gorgeous and didn't want it to fall into the wrong hands. The chapter that it is from is Alpha Tau and I was just wondering if anyone knew anything about this chapter. The badge is from 1969. I can't find anything about it on the Phi Mu website so I'm assuming it is a closed chapter but I am still interested in knowing where it came from. Thanks!

Ooooh, there have been a couple on ebay lately. Which one did you buy? The plain one or the pearl one?

The pearl one, I actually bought it at the beginning of the month. I don't think they had a regular one on there at the time, they did have a phi pin though.

Alpha Tau
 

According to my Phi Mu history book, the Alpha Tau chapter was at Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Florida. Installed May 15, 1954.

I have the older book, so I don't know if or when it may have closed.
