DG Song tune
 

Hi everyone,

I just joined the forum, I'm a DG at Delaware and our Open House Chair. Our recruitment starts in a couple months and I was looking into finding a new chant. I saw the songs on the DG website and I love the one called "Hey, Look Us Over" but I don't know the tune...

If anyone knows the tune, or where I could find it, could you please let me know!!

Also, are doing a "Ski DG" theme for the night so if your chapter has ever done any chants that pertain to that it would be awesome as well!!! (Our formal recruitment starts in Feb.) I'd appreciate any help so much!!!

The tune is from an old song called "Hey Look Me Over."

we sang that in rush. we changed the word fraternity to sorority b/c many of the pnm probably wouldn't understand that we are a fraternity even though we are for women. at least i didn't know that until i joined! just a thought!

OLD song! At least it is if I remember singing it during rush myself!
It was the song we sang when we came out of our front door to greet the rushees. Still upbeat and energetic.

There is a CD of all the songs sung by a DG that was given out at Convention 2004 to all collegiate presidents. See if someone has it. I have one. I could send you a mpeg of the song. The tune is rather easy, just sing the words in a swingy, upbeat manner and you've got it.

I could not find the CD. I know I have it, but we moved into a new home in late October and I searched every unpacked box and can't find the CD. I will keep looking.

I would love a copy of this CD! Unfortualy I dont think our president went to the national convention last year....anyone want to burn it? :)
