Chartered

Just wanna let all the folks on here know that Colony 287 at St. Louis College of Pharmacy just held its Chartering Banquet on November 18, 2005! We were chartered as Pi-Lambda Zeta.

Our application was submitted exactly one year after our colonization on September 11, 2005 (which is the minimum!)

We are now up to 30 leaders and growing...

Our website an all other information is online at www.stlcoplxa.com

If you know any other Lambda Chi's in St. Louis direct them to the web page so that they can get in touch with us and get involved with Lambda Chi again!

Congratulations Brandon. Chartering is an awesome accomplishment. I am the High Pi of Pi Epsilon Zeta at Incarnate Word and they chartered only nine months ago. I have been with them since they colonized and its been an amazing ride to see them go from a group who was short on knowledge, but long on passion to a fully chartered zeta. I know full well the struggle of securing ritual equipment, monthly colony reports, crafting a vision, saving the cash for chartering, etc.

Its kind of ironic. Two weeks before HQ announced the colonization of Incarnate Word, I commented to one of the other directors on the San Antonio Alumni Association (where I serve on the board) that participating in a colonization was the one Lambda Chi experience I never had. Three weeks later, I am the high pi of a brand new colony. Too bad I didnt lament that I had never owned a Ferrari or had three million in the bank. lol. But I wouldnt trade the experience for the world.

I look forward to meeting you in January at the Winter Leadership Retreat or at GA in Orlando to congratulate you on your accomplishment.

BTW, at GA, chapters are seated in order of chartering. As an undergrad it was cool meeting the brothers from the Phi series who sat around me and seeing how simular our chapters were, because of their age.

*edited for clarity.

Brandon, Congratulations to You and All of The Brothers Of Pi Lambda Zeta!

Starting a New Colony and getting Chartered in the Least amont of time is Outstanding and a Tribute to You and Your Fellow Brothers.

Andy knows only to well as I do from starting a Local that was Colonized withing the School Year.

Make sure You notify Jon Sagara on the Top of the Thread and IHQ to get Your Web Site on. It is a Great selling everyday tool for the Zeta!

There is also a Brother Who Started a ALUM Association in Metro St. Louis.

I will try to find out who it is and let You know. Could be very good for the Only Metro Zeta.

In ZAX,

PS, tried to Check Your Web Site and wont come up?

Thanks for the kind words guys!

I know Jason very well...he is our High Pi and a close friend now.

I am not sure why the website isn't working. It is completely flash and rather graphic intensive. I'd just make sure you had the latest version of flash and try again. I *just* tried it and it loaded fine for me...

:)
