Ucla Cob/cor

Hi, I rushed fall and depledged because I really didnt feel a connection at all from the house I got a bid from. I'm a second year right now and I really want to be in a sorority, but I know I have to wait a year (panhellenic rule). The problem is that Iwant to live in my 3rd year because I've heard how awesome it is... Is there a way I could rush before 06 formal reqruitment to ensure I am in a house and not homeless next yr :(?

I want to rush COB/COR because I've heard it is a much better way to go for juniors. But I do not really know anyone from the sorority's I would like to rush and don't know how I would find any info about COB/COR (like when it happens or how it works). If you have a suggestion, PLEAAAAASE let me know....

national panhellenic rules state that someone who depledges must wait a full year to be eligible to pledge another group on campus. that means if you rushed during and depledged after fall 2005 formal recruitment, you would have to wait until fall 2006 before you could pledge again.

the only way around this would be to transfer schools, rush and join in the spring, initiate and transfer back to ucla. even then, there would still be no guarantee that the ucla chapter would ask you to affiliate, or that there would be room available in the house. you best bet would be to wait your time, re-rush in the fall, join your dream group, initiate, and live in the house your senior year.
