Canadian Greeks

Congrats to AKA on going International!

If I'm not mistaken, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated has been international for quite some time.

Yes, but being Canadians, we like to think of ourselves as "international" and therefore, exotic. ;)

Is this the first Canadian colony/chapter/collegiate presence for AKA?

In any case, welcome to Canada! :)

Congratulations AKA! :)

From what I can see, this is an Interest Group. They have not become a chartered chapter. Good Luck to the ladies.

This will be the first chapter in Canada, if everything goes according to plan.

Mucho Thanks!:)

tld221 05-03-2006 07:51 PM

im confused.

did these ladies intend to become ladies of AKA while creating Black Pearls? Does AKA officially affiliate themselves with BP?

lost...

DSTRen13 05-04-2006 02:27 PM

So ... to clarify: Black Pearls is like an umbrella organization for both the AKA chapter in Toronto as well as volunteers who are interested in AKA but can't make membership reqs?

(Okay, so this is revealing my dorky middle school years here, but did anyone else notice that the graphics they are using on the menu bar at the top are from Sailor Moon? ...)
