going to LA ....
 

... and i dont know where to stay! usually whenever we go, we stay with some sorority sisters there, but they're here in Vegas now, so we need a hotel. ... we want to stay in LA preferably, but friday we're going to Disney... disneys close to LA right ?? :confused:
so -- any information on cute cheap hotels, places to go for drinks thurs. night, ... it'd all be MUCH appreciated and very helpful :)

Disneyland and "LA" (which I am assuming means West Hollywood) are not next door to one another. It's a hike.

For the most fun, rent a car (if you are flying in, that is!) and stay in one of beach cities like Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach and Manhattan Beach. You can tour West Hollywood and the OC by day and club hop on the beach piers by night.

Thursday night-- club hop on Sunset Blvd. (Dublin's and Miyagi's are famous landmarks) or hit Hermosa Beach Pier.

yes yes of course, im driving out from Vegas, so we'll have my car .... disney is only like an hour or so right? that is what i thought .... im ok with the whole santa monica area, and ventura area, but when it comes to actual LA i get confused easily, so in all honesty - im not sure IF west LA is where i mean .. haha ... but thanks :)

Don't worry, Disneyland is very close to Los Angeles! My friends and I (or my boyfriend and I) often go just for the night. From downtown, it takes about 45 minutes without traffic. Maybe a little less. From UCLA, it takes a little under an hour.

Santa Monica is near what is considered West LA (which is also by Westwood (UCLA). Sunset boulevard connects the West LA area (also Brentwood, etc.) with Hollywood.

I'm trying to think of some cute hotels....if I come up with one I'll pm you.

For drinks on Thursday, it's always fun to hit the clubs on Sunset.

If you're going to Disneyland on Friday, note that rush hour in LA is a mess!
