So the National Convention is coming up: SDT National Convention June 22-25, 2006 Falls Church, Virginia Anyone here planning on going? |

Since National has been brought up in our Holiday thread, I thought that I would bump this one. The question up for debate (or it has been answered and I just don't know the answer) is whether hotel prices are included in the price for Convention... :) :) Since I am still fairly new to SDT and didn't go to Disney World for the last convention, I have no clue what all is included in the price. I think I will email National today :) I'll let you ladies know what I find out

They emailed me back letting me know that they were going to send out information in January or February. I haven't emailed them since that email. I honestly forgot about it since I am not able to go anymore--vacation time is already spent at work--If they do email me any info, I will post it for everyone :) Elena |
I'm still up for going depending on what I'm doing for the summer (still totally unsure, wanna work at a baseball staduim)

I was just told that they don't have a plan for the alumnae to be at convention,. but they may have in the future. If they have in the future then woudl be the best time to attend.

That's what I thought to. That as alum you couldn't attened the Leadership Conference, but that all alums are invited back to Convention. Well, that kind of sucks...I mean, I am not going this year, but if I had had the time to take off work, I was going to go...Maybe in 2008???

Regardless, I'd be going as my position as advisor, so I'll still consider it... That's kinda bizzare though. |

The National site finally has info for it and the first line says for all alum and actives...
