Moving to Connecticut
 

Hi Ladies,
I haven't been on greekchat much in a loong time. I was wondering if any of y'all are from Connecticut, or know about the Hartford area. I accepted a job in Windsor Conn. right outside of Hartford, and any advice on areas that are safe to live at/somewhat affordable seeing this is my first real job out of College, I gradauted this past aug. Or any advice about Conn. would be great. I've been living in TX for 9 yrs. now, but grew up in NH, but don't know anything really about Conn. I've asked some friends already and have been looking online some for apartments but I figure greekchat always has great advice. :) so why not ask some online sisters.

When I saw the title of this thread, I thought - when did I post that? (That's the plan for me to do, as well, once I finish grad school!)

Anyways, Amanda, I'm going to try and get a hold of my friend who is currently living in CT, and see if she has any advice and would be willing to be an email buddy that you can probe for ideas. If she agrees, and you PM me your email address, I'll get the two of you "in contact" with one another :)
