Spread Phi Mu to So. Cali
 

Hi,

I attended a college back east where I was a Phi Mu. But, I moved out to California where there is only one chapter. I'm going to be attending Cal State Long Beach this fall and I'd like to spread Phi Mu to So. Cali! I totally miss the Phi Mu experience. I know to start this it has to go through the college. Does anyone know what I need to do???

I would imagine the first place to go would be to nationals, see what they suggest.
if not then go to the schools greek life department, tell them u are interested in forming a group of girls, to become a colony. There is probrbaly steps you need to take within the school, to be regognized as a colony, within panhellenic...as well as finding many more interested girls.
Then you would need to get nationals to regognize the colony, as well as send other sisters to help you colonize, and then charter. Im not sure on that whole process, but that seems like the most logical http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif

i would think you would get a better national response if you posted a message on Phi Mu Private side... that way national council can see it and get back to you,
