Funniest Halloween Costumes (kids)
so this year we finally moved into a house and there are some funny ass costumes on kids going around. Funny as in your parents are weird funny. This one kid was a cyclist (a la Lance Armstrong) but when we asked him if he was Lance he yelled no! I wish i would have taken a picture it was hilarious...

Some kids stopped by my boyfriend's house. Their parents were driving a HERSE with some flashing pumpkin lights in it.
Is that supposed to be for bragging rights? One of them didn't exactly have social skills either. We had a bowl of candy and so much of it that we were just giving out handfulls. So this kid from the herse walks up, doesn't say a word, grabs a handfull, and turns and walks away. No "thank you"... no "trick or treat," no "Hello!" Nothing. Quite odd. |

We ended up not going to the movies because we were irritated and went looking around the neighborhood for the thief. I mean who steals the candy and the basket...I felt bad for the poor kids that came to my door right after...I had to tell them we had nothing.:( |
I didn't see any strange costumes last night, but a lot of kids didn't have costumes and we had a lot of people that were WAY TOO old to be trick or treating! We had a woman who was like 40 or 50 trick or treating!! I'm not kidding, she was at least 40. She was with several teenagers who were also too old to be trick or treating! We were happy to get rid of the candy, but come on!!!

I saw 3 that caught my eye. The first was a boy dressed as Elvis. He had on the white jumpsuit complete w/wig, pork chop sideburns, sequins, & glasses. The second one was a kid with a sheet draped over his head with eyes cut out. A cute ghost. The last one was pretty pathetic. A lady & her daughter (I'm guessing 3 years old) came dressed in matching Playboy Bunny outfits complete with fishnets & chokers. Why would anyone want to parade not only themselves but their child like that?

--There was a family that came to my door that had a little boy (i wanna say no older than 5 months) decked out in a spider costume. It was the cutest thing in the world....6 legs and everything just looking kinda bored in the stroller! lol.
--Then I had a kid who came to door, didn't say "Trick or treat" or nothing. When I opened the door, he eneded up walking into my house just looking around. His dad called him outside and I had the candy in my hand ready to give him, and he just walked away. His dad and (i'm assuming) his brother had to bring him back to the door so that I could put the candy into his basket, and he was resisting at first---he wanted to check to see if I had given him good candy or something. And it wasn't like he was a young kid, i'm guessing he was around 10...so I just had to guess that maybe he was a 'special needs' child. --Then there was another little kid who had a costume I didn't recognize who asked me "are you in preschool?" and I had to explain to him that I was in college, but he was pretty disappointed that I wasn't in preschool, so I asked him "are you in preschool?" And we had a short little conversation about his preschool and how much he liked it. It was cute...and the little boy had come with an entourage of (i'm guessing) siblings, aunts and cousins, and everyone was decked out! It made me remember how much fun I had when I was younger!! --Every year we keep getting fewer and fewer people coming to the house, so I dont really get the "older" people coming, but I did get a girl, who i'm guessing is around 16 years old....and after I gave her a few candies she tells her friend..."alright, I wonder how many more people I can fool thinking that I'm a 12 year old trick or treater." WTF? I honestly didn't care if she was 12, 16 or 56, we had tons of candy to give. I just didn't like feeling that I was "duped" into it because I thought she was 12...eh oh well. |
I had a girl who looked to be middle school-aged, and she didn't say Trick-or-treat. She came up, asked, "Do you have any Reese's?" I said no, and she said, "OK, forget it then" and walked away.
I had a kid who was a total beanpole - I'm talking 6 feet+ and barely 100 pounds wearing a Sixers basketball jersey and carrying a rifle. Does anyone know what that was??? |
