The underdog on campus won Powderpuff Football. I have to brag. Bragging Rights is what it's all about.

Lets see if I can do this without seeming TOO cocky....

So....

Instead of making sure that our outfits were cute, we practiced game and strategy. And it worked.

Instead of forfeiting when "the other team" decided to be snotty about how many people were going to play we played by "their rules." Their attitude sucked. They woud not budge on the number of people they were going to play with. I seem to remember at the IGC meeting a month ago that "Suzy" and myself were the delegates there, and we agreed that however many people we had able to play, was how many people they were going to play with. I guess they dont understand that being a smaller sorority, we dont have a massload of people to choose from, and not everyone can play, for various reasons. So, we sucked it up and gave them what they wanted by playing 5 people on 7 people...better yet, make that 6 people on 14. We played with 5 people, and we had 1 sub. They had 2 strings of people playing, at least from what I could tell, so they changed out every couple of plays. They were "fresh". With the exception of our 1 sub, we played the entire game.

And when "Jane" bucked up her chest and gave me the "Do you want a piece of me?" look, I just smirked and walked away without saying a word. Dammit, if you are IN MY WAY, when I have the ball and I'm RUNNING for the goal, I'm gonna run over you. Yes, I'm a fat@$$, and I'm going to use it to my advantage when I need to. I didnt get run over, sweetheart, you did.

I'm not even going to get into the fact that they pushed and shoved and how the refs were biased and only saw our errors (given the refs were part of the same fraternity that their coaches were from). Oh, or the fact that I have bronchitus, Stephanie had a cold and Lauren had a busted knee, and we all played.

OHHHH. I almost forgot. They refused to shake hands with us. Their coaches had to force them to shake hands and tell us good game. Sting much?

So, Congratulations Gamma Phi. You had your 7 people, and we had our 5.
