If you love breasts...

...or have breasts, or love someone who has breasts, you need to read the following:

Pass it on! Time is running out to meet the 2005 Pink Ribbon Challenge goal of funding 750 free mammograms during October, National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Visit The Breast Cancer Site at http://www.thebreastcancersite.com/home today and every day to click on the pink "Fund Free Mammograms" button and help fund free mammograms for homeless, working-poor and uninsured women.

This simple action costs you nothing, but makes early detection and survival possible! Funding is paid by site sponsors and goes to the nonprofit National Breast Cancer Foundation, who uses it to fund programs that provide free mammography screenings to women in need. You can click once per day.

Pass it along as a way to fight breast cancer this month and all year long!

Keep this do-good chain of hope going.... Forward this email to others who may be interested in helping. Thanks for spreading the word!
*********

There's a place along the left hand side of the site that will have the site prompt you via email to click on a daily basis. It's free - consider it your way of being thankful that you even have computer access!

PS - By clicking the above, you can also help the Humane Society, the Literacy Council, the Hunger Site, the Child Health Site, and the Rainforest Site - AND their stores have really nice gifts, which also support the various causes!!

Thank you! I go to the site every day, and I was shocked to see that they're behind in their goal. I thought that maybe getting people's attention would get a few more clicks!

My god this is the worse title of a thread EVER.

John should ban you for this.

Good cause yeah I know.

But man...

As a BC Survivor, I can tell you that is is extremely important to get regular mamograms. I skipped two and I'm very lucky that it wasn't too late for me.
Also, do monthly self-breast checks----- That's how I found mine!!!

No reason to ban this because of the title -- and particularly because of the content.

Mrs. DA's youngest sister is fighting breast cancer -- and winning so far.

This is an important thread.

I clicked in memory of Mr. 1228's cousin who passed away last year. She was one hell of a lady. Her and her husband took the train out from Montreal to Vegas to go to our wedding

Me, too! I'm very fortunate that no one in my immediate family has gone through breast cancer, but so many of my clients have done so. One that I'll never forget died when she was 39 - leaving a husband & 5 beautiful children.

I just figure that we are all so fortunate to even have computers, that taking the 5 minutes to just click on a page which will help so many people (and animals!) is so little to ask of us!
