Anyone else find it hilarious that they could only find 9 good shows?

Everyone on Seventh Heaven gets knocked up and married when they're like 17. That's creepy.

Honestly, I can't believe ANYBODY thinks that the Seventh Heaven family = good Christian role models.

I'm sure there is at least one more good show, why couldn't they find it.

Also, shows like CSI and Cold Case are based on a premise that makes them adult/older teen only shows. I think it comes down to parents taking the time to make sure their children are watching age appropriate shows. Also, suprised Law & Order didn't get a nod as a bad show for family viewing.

I can understand that... Family Guy, though it is hilarious, is not something I'd want to watch with my parents or little brothers. To name one example from it, I wouldn't wanna watch a spoof on the diamonds commercial that says, "Diamonds - she'll pretty much have to" with my family! Eeesh!

Haha, that is pretty sad. They should've just made it a top nine or something.

I once heard about this thing called the V Chip, it didn't even require the parent to be there, you just had to set the parameters. It astounds me to this day that people think the networks should be responsible for the programming that their children watch, instead of being responsible themselves.

I think they still have the V Chip.

In response to this I was going to say "you haven't been in the USA long, have you?" and then I read your screen name. LOL.

Family Guy and American Dad are marketed as family shows? That's news to me. I just can't get into The War At Home. I think I've seen it twice and each time I only could last about 15 minutes into the show.

I know as far as parental blocks/montoring, there is the V-chip too, but most cable providers (I know mine does) have built in monitoring systems for parents to use that will block certain channels or shows. So its not that hard for parents to monitor what their kids watch.

See that's just it...Family Guy and American Dad are not marketed towards familys, so the PTC are a bunch of idiots if they actually buy that they are family shows to begin with...though they are idiots anyhow. Maybe if parents actually start parenting instead of wanting everyone else to do their jobs it wouldn't be such a problem. These asses at the PTC need to just shut off their TVs.

It's this simple: If it offends you, don't watch it.

Eww, the top 3 of their "best" list are shows that I would never even consider watching. But then again, I hate hate hate reality tv.

I actually watched "Ghost Whisperer" last week. It wasn't too bad, but a little bit cheesy. And I think Jennifer Love Hewitt's cleavage was a little bit exessive and on the verge of being inappropriate for children. :p

I can admit that I watch 7th Heaven... But yeah, NOT the real vision of a good Christian family IMO. A couple weeks ago the dad got all FREAKED out because the grandpa bought the 6-yr-olds TOY WOODEN GUNS. I mean seriously. Give me a break.

And pressuring the crap out of the college student to stop having sex until he gets married and making him feel like a piece of isht and that he's going to go to Hell? I find it annoying.

Hmm... And I actually like more than half of the shows in their "bad" list. Kind of makes me glad that I don't have kids to worry about at this point in life. :)

My dad got sucked into an episode of Three Wishes and made me watch it. It's things like this that make me question whether he should be living alone.

I hear ya. When my young nephew comes over, I simply hit one button and anything over PG-13 is automatically blocked.

Problem solved :)

They probably just say that because they're cartoons.
