add to life's fulfillment....
Fifty years ago I was initiated into Gamma Phi chapter at Kansas
State Teachers College of Emporia. I have thoroughly enjoyed those years, met a terrific number of fraters and have enhanced by life greatly by being an active TKE Why don't you take stock? You cannot imagine how fulfilling it can be by staying an involved Teke--it's not too late! You will stay young, and you will have a great many things to live for. So often we do not have any hobbies, involvement, interests and you will die shortly after you retire, and you will have missed out on a lot of living. I think TKE involvement will extend your life. I am an Elk, a Shriner, a Sertoman, and a Teke. Teke has been a real plus in my life of lasting value and satisfying endeavors... When was the last time you had lunch with a frater? Have you ever thought about hooking up again with the club? It will save your life. Yessirree, do it. Yours in the bond, Erik |
Congratulattions on your 50th Tekeaversary Frater Erik!
That is truely a milestone. Continued involvement will indeed keep you young. Let's more of us take our slogan, "The Fraternity for Life" seriously. Just this week I've helped get two 40+ year Tekes involved as advisors. The undergrads will gain a great deal from their wisdom and their love of TKE. |
I'm always looking for new ideas, and found a goodee among the "Divine 9:
One or more of them does not count a chapter as "dead" until it has been inactive for five or more years. |
